PRODUCT INFORMATION

Designed for the 2001–2007 Toyota Sequoia / 2004 Toyota Tacoma, DBA DBA47420S is a 4000 Series T3 Slotted direct-replacement brake rotor for the front axle.

The one-piece 4000 Series casting uses high-carbon alloyed iron and heat treatment to remain stable under braking loads beyond those expected of a basic replacement rotor. The combination is aimed at drivers asking the Toyota Sequoia / Toyota Tacoma's braking system to handle towing, larger tires, added vehicle weight, mountain travel and demanding 4WD use.

How This Rotor Is Used

This part is intended for towing, larger tires, added vehicle weight, mountain travel and demanding 4WD use. It retains the vehicle-specific mounting dimensions shown in the fitment data and installs in the original component location.

Technical Details

  • Position: Front axle
  • Product: 4000 Series T3 Slotted direct-replacement brake rotor
  • High-carbon alloyed iron with Thermal Stability Profiling
  • CBN-machined friction surface to control disc-thickness variation
  • Thermographic heat paint for temperature monitoring
  • CNC-machined T3 tri-symmetrical slot pattern
  • Performance-oriented direct-replacement dimensions
  • Quantity: Sold individually; order two to service both sides of the axle
  • Manufacturer part number: DBA47420S

Alconkits Technical Note: For Toyota Sequoia / Toyota Tacoma, This is the practical upgrade when repeated heat is a concern but a complete two-piece 5000 Series system is unnecessary. Always verify the caliper, rotor and hub configuration against the fitment table before installation.

Common Questions

Is DBA DBA47420S sold individually or as a set?

It is sold individually. Order two rotors to service both sides of the listed axle.

What type of driving is this part designed for?

It is best matched to towing, larger tires, added vehicle weight, mountain travel and demanding 4WD use. The 4000 Series T3 Slotted specification determines its balance of response, heat capacity, noise and serviceability.

What should be verified before installation?

Confirm the axle, brake package, hub pattern and rotor dimensions against the fitment table before installation.

Fast delivery. Easy to install and rear brakes looks proportion with the big front breaks. Also the rear braking bits harder then the OEM 305mm rotors.

SRT 392 Brakes

I was looking for new brakes for my 2017 Challenger SRT 392. The Paragon 2-piece rotors paired with the Winmax W Series P2 pads are working perfectly. Same feel as the original setup with a fraction of the dreaded dust. Thanks guys!

Glad we could help meet your expectation Brad! We're here whenever you need us.

Product finally came, excelent quality and workmanship. Couldnt be happier with the product itself, even though it took forever to get to me as they had to custom build it fir my car. So get ready to wait for a couple of months before it arrives on your doorstep.

Front rotor for my volvo v60 polestarl

Needed a front brake job on my 2015 Polestar. The only place that could sell me the rotor was my local Volvo dealer, for a total of 2200can$ all tx included. Bought Paragon rotor from Alcon Brake for 1500can$ all included. No braokage fee. The quality is superb and the customer service is quick and friendly.
Merci AK!

Great brake rotors for Porsche Cayman GT4

The Alcon rotors are serviceable, hats are of excellent quality and are at a good price. I recommend them! I have 4 track days on them and they look fine. Sebring International Raceway isn't easy on brakes either.

How would you describe your braking style?
Be honest — this helps match bite and pedal feel to how you actually drive.
🕊️
Smooth & Progressive
I want easy, linear feel. Comfort and predictability over outright bite.
⚖️
Firm but Controlled
I brake firmly when needed but don't threshold brake every corner.
🔥
Late & Aggressive
Maximum initial bite. I brake deep and hard, every time.
🎯
Trail Braking
I carry braking into corners — I need consistent release and feel.
What's the highest heat scenario your brakes will see?
Compounds are engineered around specific temperature windows. Choose the most extreme situation you'll regularly encounter.
Cold
Street
Sport
Track
Race
❄️ Cold Climate / Gentle Use (under 100°C)
Mountain driving in cold temps or very gentle braking — needs immediate cold bite from the first stop
🟢 Normal Street (100–400°C)
Typical daily driving — brakes rarely see sustained heat buildup
🟡 Spirited / Mountain Passes (400–600°C)
Long descents, heavy vehicles, spirited canyon driving or repeated hard stops
🔴 Track / HPDE (600–900°C)
Sustained hard braking on circuit — brakes get genuinely hot every session
⚫ Racing (900°C+)
Endurance, sprint, or club racing — maximum sustained heat every lap
How do you feel about brake dust and noise?
Higher-performance compounds often produce more dust and occasional squeal. Tell us your tolerance.
🤫
Keep It Clean & Quiet
Clean wheels and silent operation matter to me. I'll trade some peak bite for this.
🤷
Some Dust Is Fine
Happy to clean wheels more often if it means better braking.
💪
Performance Only
Dust, squeal, smell — I don't care. Give me the best stopping power.
How important is rotor longevity to you?
Aggressive compounds can accelerate rotor wear. On Alcon-grade rotors, this is especially worth considering.
💰
Rotor Life Matters
I want pads that are gentle on rotors. Replacement costs are a real concern.
⚖️
Balanced Trade-off
I'll accept moderate rotor wear for meaningfully better stopping power.
🏆
Performance First
Rotors are a consumable. I'll replace them as needed. Max stopping power wins.
