Domestic (USA) Returns
Unused and uninstalled merchandise may be returned within 30 days of receipt. Custom items (powdercoated products, custom rotors, modified pads, etc.) are not returnable.
Return shipping and fees:
- Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, except when the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective item, or item lost/damaged in transit), in which case we cover return shipping.
- A 10% restocking fee applies to all returns except those caused by our error. This may be waved by manager discretion.
- If your original order shipped with free shipping, that shipping cost is non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
- If you ordered the wrong part for your vehicle or application, that is treated as a customer-initiated return: standard return shipping costs and the 10% restocking fee may apply. This is separate from us shipping you something different than what you ordered, which is our error and is not subject to these fees.
Cancellations: Non-custom items may be canceled before they ship. Cancellations are subject to a 2.9% fee to cover credit card processing costs. Custom items cannot be canceled once production has started.
Refund timing: Refunds are issued within 3-5 business days of our receiving and inspecting the returned merchandise. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Return Authorization (RMA) Process
Returns are not accepted without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Merchandise returned without proper authorization is subject to a $10.00 processing fee and a 10% restocking fee, or may be refused entirely.
- Request an RMA. Email sales@alconkits.com or call our sales department to request an RMA number before sending anything back. RMA requests must be made within 30 days of receipt. Once issued, an RMA number is valid for 15 days; merchandise must be shipped back to us within that window or the RMA will expire and must be reissued.
- Pack the merchandise carefully. Use adequate packaging to prevent damage in transit. Do not write on, tape, or affix shipping labels directly to the product packaging itself. Merchandise that arrives in unsellable condition will be refused. Refused merchandise is subject to an additional shipping and handling fee, unless it is returned to you along with your next order.
- Include your RMA number and invoice. Print your RMA number clearly on the outside of the shipping carton and include a copy of your original invoice inside. Email sales@alconkits.com for the current returns shipping address.
All returned merchandise is inspected before credit is issued. Merchandise that does not meet the criteria above, or that is returned without an RMA, is subject to additional fees or refusal at our discretion.
Rush Orders / Drop Shipments
Orders that need to ship before the expected ship date can be processed as a rush order and/or drop shipped directly from the manufacturer's location. Manufacturers may impose additional handling and shipping fees for this service, which will be added to your order total.
European Union
We do not ship to European Union countries due to the complexity and cost associated with EU consumer protection regulations, including "Right to Withdraw" requirements. Orders must be placed with a valid US delivery address, and we reserve the right to verify or cancel orders where billing information, IP location, or other order details indicate an attempt to circumvent this restriction.
Transactions completed with a US delivery address are fulfilled and governed under US terms and are not intended to be subject to EU consumer protection regulations. This policy is not a guarantee of legal outcome in any specific jurisdiction; customers with questions about their rights under local law should consult independent legal advice.
We are not responsible for any onward shipping arrangements made by the customer to move product from a US address into the EU, including through freight forwarding services (see our Shipping Policy for full freight forwarding terms). For heavy freight items such as brake rotors, estimated return shipping costs from the EU to the US typically range from $400 to $1,000 or more depending on weight and country of origin. By placing an order and arranging your own onward shipment to the EU, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for these potential costs.
