The highest dry boiling point of any racing brake fluid: 341°C / 646°F.
Halo P1 is a race-only, high-performance methyl triglycol (MTG) borate ester brake fluid with a proprietary formulation from Orthene, the manufacturer behind an estimated 65% of the world's racing brake fluid (per Orthene). It is built for the most demanding motor racing applications, where pedal consistency from the first lap to the last decides braking points.

What It Does For Your Braking
Low compressibility: a firm, consistent pedal across a wide temperature range. In Halo's pedal-travel test, P1 held constant travel until roughly 300°C, while the competitor fluids tested showed growing pedal travel well before vapor lock.

Switching To Halo P1
Most racing fluids are borate ester based and miscible with P1. A thorough flush is generally sufficient.
If the car has silicate ester fluid (such as Castrol SRF), Halo recommends stripping and rebuilding calipers and master cylinders with new seals. Condition the new seals in P1 for 24 hours before assembly, then follow a standard bedding-in procedure.
Silicate ester fluids are not recommended for Bosch M4/M5 ABS modules due to poor lubricity.
P1 or GT?
